Only a few years back i realized how music has inevitably become a part of my existence. some are addicted to their favorite type of music or musicians and music is generally regarded as a medium of entertainment. But the way of music and its role in the lives of fanatics like me are much much more and different!
Right from my early childhood, when morning ragas from mom's kitchen radio used to wake me up, till today where there is 24*7 bumbass, music has taken toll on my lifestyle and the way i think. Music for me is not mere entertainment and just another funny analysis of poetic sense . The very music , the tone , the lyrics is a tool of self analysis, knowing thyself [dunno yet lol] . For me every particular song i loved would remind me of great memorable moments, people i met, places i went and every special thing in my life in chronological order. For me every special song will flash a flashback on my life!
The world is full of facts and interrelated functions. Music is present in every nook and corner of customs and religion so it has got a greater impact on psychology of people and their mental and social discipline. Scientists and physicists co-relate music and investigate probability theory & entropy to the latest string theory, [the so called theory of everything]!
May be greatest number of people and vast landscapes captured were through battles and war. But the greatest number of hearts were captured through music! The greatest charity funds ever raised was through music. Music is beyond political boundaries and can serve as the universal language of brotherhood. College life, net, and the LAN have provided me unlimited access to music. Friends introduced me to loads of hit numbers. Thus it would be of immense pleasure if this blog would be a common platform for sharing music reviews and your musical experiences!!
